Thanks Hanno, it would seem that there are more of these lorries around than I thought. The nice man at the REME museum told me that the majority of the survivors come from Ireland, I wonder why? Out here in Italy the six cylinder morris engine was not very highly regarded apparently, and those vehicles sold on to the civilian market were scrapped very soon after the war. The engine on mine died because the hot spot on the inlet manifold had corroded which led to a holed piston, and this happened whilst it was still in sevice with the Italian army. I wonder if this was a common failing....
