My wife and I would like to wish you all the compliments of the season and we hope that 2006 will be far better then 2005 for everyone.
You also all have my humble thanks for your friendship and the sharing of your knowledge and pictures of the vehicles. I have learnt a lot and hopefully will continue to do so for some time to come. cheers Cliff & Kathie Hutchings, Queensland, Australia. ![]() |

Isn't the internet wonderful - I don't have to leave my home yet I have people all over the world that I would consider friends.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you & your families.

Anyone dropping by the Heron Rd Estate,Military Manuals Central ,Over the Christmas season may get a hooker of rum ,over which,Rob,We will debate weather it is Commie Christmas or Commie Holiday Rum.... In the meanwhile ,seasons greetings to all our MLU friends... Cliff,I hope Santa brings you a lucky lotto ticket...

Sorry, lads, I get so hung up on the Softskin thread I forget to drop down a couple of threads.
As is PC down/over/up here, Seasons Greetings to all from Pat and myself. Pat is officially retiring from our business the 1st of January and we have both filed for Social Security and I have filed for my pension with SAAB/General Motors and we hope to start to back off a bit. A winning Lotto ticket would not be a burden to us either. Alex, I shall ever be envious of you Canucks who can visit the lovely country of Cuba, which we Yanks cannot without a lot of travail. El Presidente notwithstanding, Cuba is a very friendly country and I wish I could visit there more often. I snuck in when I worked for Volvo as we were trying to sell some trucks to them in the 1970's and it was amazing to me that the locals had no problem at all with Yanks as "folk". Don't know too much about the situation today, but most Cubans then assumed that the US Government was the bogeyman, not the common folk. As I recall now some 30 years later, the rum was magnificent, the cigars were mild and "smokable" even though not my thing and the overall ambiance was great. Sitting on the Malecon watching the fishing boats going about and listening to Cuban Jazz and Salsa was just great. Well, anyway, everyone have a great Holiday Season, drink in moderation:dh: and above all drive safely ![]() Best regards and cheers to all from Pat and I. Bill
