In the interests of accuracy and pedantry we should record its more to do with The Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Corporation, as I like to call then to their face since they like to hide under their registered acronym of HSBC, rather than an executive directive from Mrs Notton.

"Work" would be entirely accurate, however, "living" could only be used very loosely at C$10.0196/hr depending on a sufficiency of cash customers/wk to put such sums in the cash tin.

The high spots of 2005, for those mildy interested, would be:

A hugely successful Overlord 2005.

And interesting things brought by interesting people I have made twinkly silver-grey from brown and grubby:

A 1960's Ferrari F1 space frame for Mr Ecclestone.
A FV102 Striker complete
Lots of CDSW parts
A pre-war Indian frame (that will spend its life going round in circles. . . . . . . .)
The main frame of a 10" gauge 4-6-2
The complete hull of an Atkinson Alligator
Several Wehrmacht infantry trailers
Bits of a Typ.166 and the engine heads
Bits of a McLaren traction engine

And the low points, but mostly good earners:

Any number of wrought-iron, scroll work, fences and gates
Any number of cast C/H radiators
Sets of Alfa-Romeo suspension parts
A broken air cooling belt buried in a KHD F4L1011
10 off, powder-coated, 4ft, spherical marine buoys

Some interesting happenings:

Pouring a gallon of red diesel over myself.
Fred the farmer/landlord falling off the ladder propped against his wheeled and un-braked bale elevator.
Three Wehrmacht infantry trailers correctly hitched in a "crocodile"
A completed Typ.166 roll-out.
The Kestrel that flew into the 8ft x 5ft mezzanine office during lunch and perched on the window sill.

To name but a few. . . . . . . . . .
