I was thinking more of:

which might be too biblical, but the same principle...go and ask as it does not hurt and it might not be painful after all!

The truck is definitely lhd ... when would the US uniforms date to please? I am guessing 1942 +?

The 1937, 1938 and 1939-40 pre-CMP designs were all lhd. The first rhd was the prototype 15-cwt 4-wheel drive that Dr Gregg featured OR the prototype C-GT.
