Indeed, it is without doubt an H.W:M. team lorry (Hersham and Walton Motors), although possibly dating from before 1951 (and their involvement with Alta engined cars) when George Abecassis was still racing an ERA. Incidentally, Abecassis was an RAF Lysander pilot, so maybe that explains the Ford connection!
