The last time I was at FIG there was 2 feet of snow on the ground and everybody was frozen by the end of the day. The place you pictured looks like Florida or California - somewhere warm. Any day with a Carrier drive is a good day! Stewart

No snow this year about 50, A very nice day I put 20 miles on the carrier she worked Great no problems at all

Steve , yes , it was an unusually warm January for a Bulge event at the GAP .

 I am sure the Lads will love not having to walk into battle anymore I don't think I can get time off of work for Norwind I have to save my Vac. days so I have some for the Reading WWII weekend in June.Steve K

Would have been darned uncomfortable to have to fly an entire mission that way! CHIMO!

German 222 was fiberglass , I know the one your talking about
9th SS has it. The box is indeed John's repop. The other carrier seen around here is Barry D's also with 56th recce now his is named "Vera Lynn" also a 1942 Mk1
