THE 82nd ANNUAL WARRIORS’ DAY PARADE
This year marks the 125th Anniversary of the Canadian National Exhibition and the Warriors’ Day Parade, the longest running veterans parade in the free world, has been a part of the CNE tradition for the past 82 years. This year will mark the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals and military communications in Canada, now known as Communications and Electronics. It is also the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Engineers and the Canadian Military Engineers and the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Korean War. Once again this year, the Parade will begin at the Princes’ gates but it will terminate in Hall “C” of the National Trade Centre. This change has been necessitated but renovations underway in the Coliseum. The Parade will once again include a mini-tattoo called “A Salute to Heroes” as the finale. 2003 WARRIORS' DAY It gives us great pleasure to announce that the Honorable James K. Bartleman, the 27th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will be the Reviewing Officer for this years Warriors' Day Parade.
