Here the monster is dragged from it's lair of forty years and loaded.
Steve Stone that well know C30 11 cab OCMPG member ponders the meaning of true insanity back at our other workshop. I have to say here and now Steve was a real star and without his help for three weekends on the trot to prepare the truck for recovery David and I would have faced a consdirably harder task. Steve's mate Keith also deserves thanks for driving the recovery truck right through the middle of Bath with bits falling off, .........what me officer ?. Work is ongoing and it will be a few more years yet………… but David has a really pukka cab that we shipped in from the sates and is collecting all the hard to find bits on e-Bay. As the truck is basically pre war US commercial it's not as hard as you may think. The gantry body we will build from scratch using a friends as pattern..........unless we can find one.
