Where have they all gone

that's a nice picture of a MW water tanker I'm guessing it may have been taken some time ago ?. Looking at it made me think of the very large number of interesting trucks we used to see at shows in the UK 15 to 20 years ago that never seem to see the light of day now. I wonder where they all went ?. Rhetorical question really but I'd be interested in other peoples views. Pete
