A question for our Australian members
Over the years I have frequently seen these small Brass kangaroo figures for sale on Ebay. They originate in Australia, and always sell for a pretty penny. This one just sold for $175 US Dollars??
One side is stamped IH (International Harvester) which as a prairie kid, I recognize that name. The other side is stamped "Geelong"... ??? Is this a farm implement promotional piece or perhaps a hood ornament of some sort (like the Mack Trucks "Bulldog"?
The question is, what are these kangaroos? And why are they so valuable/desirable??
