I also have a 1942 Snap On catalogue. The price of a tool box was $100.00. I can now buy that same size box at CTC for $100.00.

Barry..You are right..CTC has been around..for ever..
I thought it started up after the war,late fourtys,but I didn't start getting stuff there till the '50's so pulled the number out of my hat..
I know better than to do that on MLU...
