I believe that you're describing an AN/VRC-47, not a PRC-47. PRC=Pack Radio Communications, VRC=Vehicle Radio Communications. The AN/VRC-47 configuration consists of the RT-524A and the R-442, both in their applicable Mounting Trays and appropriate cabling and antennae arrays.
