Hey, Wusty!
If Max doesn't have the right spanner or torque wrench when you put the heads on but DOES have a stick welder I think you know what to do. You may as well weld the water pumps and valley cover on too but be careful with the sump. It's a bit thin. Once the engine is back in ensure you braze the gearbox on properly too. BTW you should be able to log on again now.
