Default L.S.V.W. @ ican

hi all

i just noticed where there is an up coming auction and although they havn't officially listed the vehicle yet, it looks like an l.s.v.w. will be on the chopping block. i'm surprised to see a 12 year old mv up for auction, as we usually run our fleet for 20+ years. anyhow, if anyone is looking to obtain one of these " beauties" .............mike

quite the line of Iltis's for sale also.

Anyone in Ottawa want to bid on an M101 trailer for me. I am trucking an item out of Rockwood ontario sometime this fall/winter so I could ship it out here then. Just a thought.

Sean, you're better off contacting Rob Love in Shilo. The transport will be driving right past his place and he has many, many of these for sale right now at at half decent price.

And he's only 90 miles from the family farm! So when I do get there for a visit I could pick it up. The one's for sale in this auction appear to be in outstanding condition, and I did not know Rob had any up for sale. It would look super behind my jeep and be the right size and weight to haul nicely.
Rob, I know you're lurking around here somewhere is this true ?

Yes it's true. I still have about a dozen left. These came out of an armoured militia regiment who rarely to never used them (only drivenon sundays, so to speak.) They were stored outside so they do have a bit of paint fading, but tires are like new, and some even have tarps.
I have them priced at $600 with tarps and lights, and $550 without.

hi rob,

usually, vehicles to be auctioned off are on the ican website for several weeks before the auction. in the case of the lsvw, i think it was photographed, and posted to the site by mistake, because suddenly, the posting of it was gone.
