Default Bad news......

After a few days of searching various sources and reverse sourcing by dimension size........ seems no one in the world makes these bearing anymore at least not in the sizes we need.

But the supplier came up with this solution...... we opened one of the bearing has the brass was a bit streched..... and he tells me they can be rebuilt using new ball bearing which he had in stock.

Now granted thsi was one of the better bearing I brought him but he examined both upper and lower races and pronouced them very good.... and he had 36 proper size ball bearings... he recommended replacing the whole set as one..... about $3.00CDN each times the 12 required. He recommended packing with Moly Extreme Pressure grease..... that is grease with Molydenum Disulphide... like a graphite mixed in grease.....

I passed for the time being because as I have a full NOS set but will carefully examined my old one in case of future use......
