good morning hanno...

i have worked on 4 T-16s and own 5 UCs. the T-16 with its all welded hull makes it harder to work on the stearing / brakes up front. also when pulling the motor it takes about 1-1.5 hrs to pull the winsor motor vrs about 3-6 hrs to pull the T-16s. the T-16 is so improved that parts are a BIG problem. the spark plug wires are built into the wireing system.

you are right about the steering being better in the T-16 (as well in the LP2) but its fun to spin the wheel. but really its not that much better to intreduce a entire new line of repare parts durring combat. but it does give you more room up front

with the extra room in the back you can carry the needed items / crew that is needed for the ATG or mortar. while the t-16 is just slightly bigger in the back than a UC MKi or 2 the windsor looks like you could have a party in the back of it.

im not trashing the T-16 or windsor just woule like to know why they had 2 diffrent vehicles doing the same job. and at 5000+ windsors it had to have its good points

hanno
