That seems a little steep to me, or am I just used to the lower values of Landies?

It's certainly steep for a jeep on ebay. Looks in fine condition though. There's was a srs3 Landy on ebay a few weeks ago in QLD with only 26,000kms on the clock for $4,000. How's that?

even that is a bit expensive for a series 3 unless it had a good engine, all bits present and in pretty darn good condition, but some have been going to silly prices, others at a price that was great value.

Theres a few things wrong with it. No handbrake is one that really sticks out along with what appears to be a ford chassis.
Overall it looks like a really nice jeep! Not mint, but a good example overall- at least it has what appears to be an original body! Whoever buys it though will need to fix a few things (not including those above) to get it back to a 42 MB. Rotary switch, rifle carrier, variuous things in the engine bay (that i can see in the limited pic), speedo and i guess more minor things that you would expect to see on a jeep if it is going for that money. More pictures/better quality pictures and information would be nice to get a fare idea on what its worth. But as Phoenix has said, things (landies and jeeps included) have been going for prices not accurately reflecting what they are worth so i guess its anyones guess. I am really interested in those bent bar tyres though. I wonder where they scored them- anyone have any ideas? Ian.
