hi bruce. the problem i think is maybe that the REME guys were given a guideline and told to go with it. the one on the jeep seems to not have a spring at all!!!! while the one on your vehicle is set at a certin height and the one used on open toped vehicles can slide up and down!!!
as far as getting one i may make a generic run of them that would be good for most vehicles and as you know we can always work out a deal  i may be up there in spring sometime, any luck with the steering shaft? dave
