The HLIofC vets gather every year at the Armoury in Cambridge, On, in early June. There's not a lot of the old guard left, but I can arrange for you to visit. I'm sure that some of them will remember him. We consider these chaps to be the "Fathers" of the regiment, and have them out for medals parades, promotions and the like. In their honour we have named our second Rifle Company As "Buron"Coy. A few even attend the "Men's Christmas Dinner" and eat with the troops as the Officers and NCO's serve the men.
