FYI ... the West Coast was hammered with 157 km winds!

Nelson and area in the West Kootenays had power outage for about 5 or so hours.

We in the East Kootenays? Well ... no MLU until after noon. HARSH!

The third powerful storm this week hammered southwestern B.C. overnight with winds of up to 157 kilometres an hour, leaving about 240,000 families in the dark and disrupting the morning commute.
