If it is of any interest, here's my British Chevrolet database, and I have a load more to add! It does not include CMPs as I have added the chassis numbers to the Canadian database.

Warning it is 1.5MB and a .doc file. I hope that you look at the Southampton-assembled vehicles.

This is only a fraction of the registration records I have seen, as these are the only ones selected because of chassis/engine numbers.

I helped out a guy in Australia yesterday and this morning with a decode on his Holden chevy sedan:
