You are correct it seems. The odd bending angles of the fenders threw me off and of course if you compare to an Inter, what is left of the hood could look just like theirs.
I was also a bit fooled by the front wheels which are an identical pattern to the Inter. I do not follow post war vehicles much and now see that wheel pattern followed on into the fifties at least.
