The influx for passports is people rushing to get them
1) to get into USA, USA deadline Jan. 23rd 2) Passport Canada NORMALLY does 40% to 50% of their annual volume processing new applications between December and March. 3) Those who scurried out and bought passports after 9/11 in 2001 are expiring and they need new ones. All at once! I wonder how many people scored new jobs with Passport Canada (even if only temporary, jobs are good to find!!!  Karmen
