The michelin tires were bought locally from a guy who buys military surplus. They are about $195 each. I have replaced the spare with a michelin aswell. I thought I would have issues with the bead, but no problem. I was looking for oem replacments, but I haven't won the lotto yet. I can hook you up with the guys phone number if you need tires. He is located in St Lazarre PQ.
As for the look, I am more concearned with function rather than look. Original is great if it's available. Eventually all the stock will be gone...ie ferret mufflers, and we'll have no option but to be inventive. I made my muffler from Stainless pipe.
