I've taken a closer look at the map and discovered this:
from antwerp 9km north lays brasschaat
from brasschaat 24km north lays brecht
from brasschaat 20 km north lays kalmthout
from kalmthout 8 km west lays putte
when the sar advanced from the triangle brasschaat kalmthout brecht in north-west direction they entered holland near huijbergen.

this suggests they were close to putte but did not move trough the town.
