Vimy Ridge
I have just arrived home from England this evening after a trip to France and Belgium for the Vimy celebrations. It was my second trip to the Vimy Monument and it looks ever so much better after all the restoration work that has been done on it.
It was amazing to watch the stream of Canadian high school students that came down the road to the grass in front of the monument for the ceremony and I'm sure they have never had a history course like their week in Europe. Gord
