We are obliged not to call them "Speed Cameras" as this enrages the officialdon.

They are to be correctly titled "Safety Cameras" but no official has yet explained why many are located on straight, open and unrestricted roads.

There is currently a case before the EU Court of Human rights; when served with a postal fine plus 3 points from afore mantioned Safety Cameras, you must either accept it or state who was driving your vehicle. Apparently this is in direct contravention with the right to remain silent.
