That's a socket for a single pole bulb which would make it a
"BULB, 1-1/2 C.P. - 6-8V (Dash and Ignition Lock) (Mazda #61) " according to the parts manual. I looked at the remains of another C15 in my yard (very little left of it) and the census # is 40-1-717, only a few numbers away from the latest acquisition. I assumed the motor in the latest wasn't original since it has the breather slits in the tappet cover and a 4 blade fan with the narrower belt as found in civvy trucks but the parts list says they used all this on the first jobs. David Hayward, can you make an educated guess as to the possible serial # and engine # range for this truck?
