I have been offered this vehicle. The vehicle is located in outback Queensland Australia so I have to decide if the recovery is worth the expense.

			Darren,

No rust, 90% complete, late model Chev, (confirm please KW), looks like you get the rims in the tray. Nice tray less pioneer tools, Damn... I wonder where they went! Even the spare tyre holder (how rare are they???) I say... go for it.. a truck this complete is very hard to find, a super easy resto.. Looks like the hard yards of a 12V conversion are already done with a Holden FC/EK? regulator already there. Get all the wheel nuts etc off the seat there... everything will matter. The Canadians are already jealous! Ian

But it is quite a gem of a sunshine roof C15A with so little rust and so complete.

I'm no blitz expert, and I know that rust is always worse in real life than in photos, but that looks like a retty darn good cvehicle, and reasonably complete. Pending distance, go for it!

Here is the formula you need

Distance x Time + Mates = Adventure (priceless event) With a full size 4x4 you would be able to stick that one on a good size car trailer without to much effort. It is only fuel from there on. I suggest a thread on longest recovery; being the type to boast heres my latest effort from last weekend 2850 km in a weekend with 10 hours spent obtaining the parts and a sticky beak at a collection + 1 night at the Pub. Recovered engine full drive train and suspension for my Toyota FQ15. Thanks to Rob for sharing the wheel it was a good weekend out.
