Default Swapping Engine Parts

Well I am about to open up the bottom end and have been musing about the possibility of swapping the crank, con rods, camm, fuel pump shaft and any other goodie that I might need for a 42 block....any comments about increased horsepower and or possible difficulties that I may encounter? I know I am putting the cart before the horse as I still do not know the condition of the bottom end. I do know that there is reasonably fressh oil in the crankcase and I am hopeful.

I was going to post more pics but it seems the Frau has the digi and has left town for a break from all the olive drab.
