I had 100 of these made up a few years ago, and found a dozen or so which I had forgotten about. These are the springs used on the brake shoes of the Canadian Universal Carrier. They are often found broken, and there is no direct commercial equivelent.
So if you are embarking on a carrier rebuild, I would suspect you may find yourself in the market for some of these. Price is $30 for a set of 4, plus appropriate shipping. I believe I can fit these into a bubble wrap envelope for about $3 to anywhere in Canada. If you need them in a hurry, Expresspost will run from $10-13, depending on what end of the country you are in. Edited to say that there is now only 1 set left, so if you are fence sitting, you will soon be using hindsight instead. Edited again to say that there are no sets left, so now you have to use your hindsight. Sorry. Last edited by rob love; 07-09-07 at 22:27. |
