CMP kingpin bearings

Hot little commodity these bearings.........

We suspect that they were used on the 28-32 Cadillac LaSalle as a King Pinn Bearing....last set of two sold on EBay for approx. $230 US........

The Ottawa Rotters have found a limited source in the UK for approx $100 each and in Texas for $140 US each.......

At $400 + per front axle that implies that the selling price of any future CMP spare front axle will be around $500 speculating that the bearing are salvageable.........

I am going to start to post guards around our CMP Cemetery in the back field.
