It appears to be one of the C8 MG 2 pounder portees .. or what's left of it ! A few of them have turned up over here , the other side of the pond . I know of at least one more in NZ . The portee arrangement was a tilting rear tray , and it had a hand winch to pull the gun up onto the tray .... I think some of the Chev 12 cab version with same body , survive in NZ .. so you have a pattern somewhere to copy . In the UK , they were converted into 17 pounder tractors . The antipodean survivors escaped this conversion .. and are still 2 pounder role type . Mike
