I thought winter was the CMP Gods gift to us hardy Canadians when we all we all huddled in our warm work shops and restored our trucks uninterrupted by road trips and parades.
I also recall another thread about 'Nasties' which described venomous snakes and insects. Winter is Canada's natural control method on those nasty buggers, so buck up guys its not all bad.
I know winter, being half way up Lake Huron and about five miles inland.
When a north wester roars down off the lake they don't call this the snow belt and white Hell country for no reason.
