A colourfilm has been found on youtube, depicting the last days of the Dutch East Indies. There's a CMP truck in the 3rd part, crossing the railroad.

Actually the troops you are seeing on the film do not belong to the Dutch Colonial Army but to a local territorial unit (parttime militia) called Stadswacht. This particular Stadswacht is the Batavia one (1350 men, 12 armoured personnal carriers or overvalwagens by 1942: http://www.overvalwagen.com/ ).

It appears the CMP has a white emblem on the cab door, a star? Is that possible in 41/42?

I agree, that Dodge 6x6 gives it away....pity though, thought I had proved the existence of CMPs before the IJA arrived.....
