Default Centurion Tanks

I have just had a short nose through the site, and quite see what Ian meant about coffee and biscuits.

My short visit lasted over an hour, and was nowhere near complete.

Although I was not Armour or did any work on the Centurion, I have memories that the first unit I was attached to (2 Field Regt R.A.) trialled one as some sort of Command Post. Whether it was for a Battery or the Regiment I cannot remember.

It still had the Stab system fitted, and more than one Gunner very nearly had a modified head when it was being driven round the Gun Park.

Paul.
