It was a little fresh this morning with -21oC showing on the thermometer. Good thing there was no wind. After sparking up Lucifer, the barn warmed up enough for some gloves off work. Bob arrived a little later than usual and spent most of the morning removing the blanket of snow from the driveways and access roads. Grant arrived later still - after completing his various snow removal tasks in the city.
Grant and Bob decided to repair the sandblasting cabinet and fixed the lethargic siphon. Grant then took advantage of the repair work and cleaned up his water pump housing. ![]() Bob continued some work on brake parts - including washing some parts in really cold cleaning fluid. Next came the "hot wrench": ![]() I spend the morning refrubishing rims and in the afternoon, spent a few hours disassembling two of my old tires and rims. One of Kelsey's best: ![]() After that, I spent some time with the needle gun removing 60 years of crap from the rims. Bob thinks I should be called "Bubbles"... ![]() I then reassembled the spare tire that will fit on the HUP's spare bay. ![]() To end the day, I needed Bob's help to pull my car out of the snow bank near the barn. It drove into the snowbank alright, but didn't want to leave...Thanks for the recovery job, Bob.
