hopefully at some stage max might be able to fill in the story (sorry to dob you in max )
 Have solved a few little mysteries on my c8 . I have discovered the headlights are from a 40,s bedford pc or similar speedo is from a civilian chevrolet truck (the same as in my 38 chev) gauges same as in bedford civilian or similar of late 40,s
