Experimental U.S. Canvas boat trials

Guys, take a look at this little gem...it's FBE, but not Folding Boat Equipment, it's Folding Box Equipment. The darn thing looks like it was made from a couple of army cots, check out the cross braces, don't they look like cot supports? Anyway, I don't think this little canvas boat made it past the trials stage, thankfully.
