C8A Contracts
Hi Nick,
A very good question - let’s hope some more information surfaces as a result. I am always grateful for Bart Vanderveen’s extensive articles on the C8A and C8AX in Wheels & Tracks #1 and #2. As far as contract numbers go, the C8A-04 Spare Parts List of June, 1945 gives 41 orders that vehicles were supplied on: 25 Supply/Mech Orders and 16 Miscellaneous Orders, (13 for Canada and 1 each to New Zealand, China and France). If anyone wants the specific order numbers from that Parts List, let me know and I will send them or post them here. Brian.
