hello
just looking at the mrf tyre range
It appears the tread pattern of the roadtrac tyre looks more like the sand tyres used in africa rather than the sandgrip
I could not find if they are available in 9x13 though
I will be also interested in a set shortly
first picture is sandgrip 2nd roadtrac

Andrew:
The Roadtrac does look very similar to the sand tyres used in Africa. However, it appears that although they are included in MRF's trye range, they are not included in MRF's export line as they did not show up when doing a search.

Jim

The Road Trak is listed in their export lines under Off-the-road/earthmoving tyres. Unfortunately, it is not available in a size to suit us.

David:
Have noted that you're in for 4 from Wallace Wade, subject to the tread pattern being ok. Will contact Wallace later this week for an update on the tires.

Jim

Any further word on this project? I have a friend with a museum who wants 25 of the tires as long as the pattern is chevron. That should help a long way towards the goal of 100.

Rob:
Nothing at the moment. However, with your friend putting in for 25, I'll certainly give Wallace a call on Monday. By the way, I'll need a name and location of your friend before I do.

Regards,
Jim

Hi Rob
Good to see your still around as we discussed at your place a while back I'd go for 20 900/13 tires for my trucks If Wade tires will produce them i think its the only way to get good tires. Am in the process of making up some 15 inch wheels to fit the 800cwt. Missed seeing you at the Easter gun show Arlon

Hi,
Went to an event this weekend and met a man who has NOS 9.00-13" tires he got from a military facility in North Dakota some years ago.

Sent me a photo of them today...hope it is viewable as I had problems trying to post it.

He is located in Loveland Colorado, wants $100 US each, and can be reached Here

Am happy with my Trelleborgs, so just passing the information along.

Thanks, David

Hi Andrew,

If you want, I have a mate who regularly brings containers of vehicles and parts out of Wlmington, CA- (used to bring tyres in as a small thing for various people too). He can organise transport in the states to get these tyres to his container too. He is here in Sydney- castle hill to be exact. He's a great bloke- member of the chev club here in Sydney. I've used him for years at very reasonable prices to bring jeep bits in as have others here in sydney who ive recommended John to- and he's known my mum for the last 40+ years through the vintage car movement too, so he's not going to disappear overnight!

If you want, I can pass you on his number and you could give him a call to see if he can help you get them here? Send me a PM and ill pass it on if your interested.

Cheers,
Ian.

Any idea where to buy 9.00 x 13 tubes and tyres in continental Europe? Shipping costs from UK are killer. Prefered pattern on photo.
