Hi Ken, the question has to be asked.... Where was this photo taken? Very sad but very interesting....

The answer is I don't know for sure but I think Ron mentioned something about a range in South Australia.

He gave me a batch of several hundred pics to scan, very few of which have any information attached. Ron is now deployed to Darwin and difficult to contact.

It looks like Cultana Range, between Pt Augusta and Whyalla. See another Range Relic here.

Cultana Range sees quite a few live fire Exes.
