Default It Lives

Got her breathing and spitting fire today
good reason ford put v8 in them -if you average out the operating cylinders you end up with 6 anyway
usual fuel feed problems and sticking starter motors
fixed that problem though when i attached the other ford starter

Default evolution

It is always interesting to see the changes or evolution in models even in the same cab type
This would have to be one of the best in this model
First picture is of an earlier cab 12 one piece (not easy removeable ) engine side cover
The second later model cab 12 multi piece covers
Have now got the latest running on 7 cylinders with the final cylinder having either a stuck or burnt valve

Default Instrument Panel

Hi Andrew - My knowledge of Cab 12s is pretty limited so answer me this question. The instruments in your later Cab 12 shows round instruments. Are these original or is that a retrofit panel? My understanding is that round gauges were not introduced until around 1943.

Bob

Bob
they will be a retrofit Bob as all the 12 cabs had the square guage cluster
