Alex and Jim, Thanks!

So, they moved the radiator forward and fitted a 1 inch spacer between the grill and nose, to fit the larger engine. This way the standard doghouse and (most of the) floor plan, as well was the structure of the cab could be used.(?)

Jim, that shot is great! You rarely see the bottom of a cab, and this one shows some great details, like the extra frame bar on the left of the engine, while there isn't one on the right hand side. Also fascinating to see that they did retain the rounded corners of the rear cab wall, while the body is a van type one.
