There are more than a few things I will have to learn to communicate in this forum.

I will have to learn what is the front and what is the rear of a vehicle or carrier.

I will also have to study the intracacies of the replies, quotes, and messaging formats.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Now I don't know where the picture was taken but I do know that my dad did some training in ValCartier, Shilo, Southern Alberta and Victoria B.C. This shot can be from any one of these locations. I remember him saying that while in Alberta, they had some some exercies with new smoke generators that were to be used at D Day.
Dad signed up with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. His unit eventually went to Hong Kong. Because of his languages, he was posted to the 22nd and was a dispatch rider overseas. He was then re-patriated to Canada with the Winnipeg Camerons. Dad did not talk much about the war.
