Default Dubbo Rescue

Hi all

The jungle drums have been working again. Just heard about an "English Blitz" being rescued from a scrap yard in Dubbo. Believed to be a Fordson. Anybody have any clues. Be nice to see some photographs.

Bob

Andrew,

It is indeed a Fordson WOT6, a later one than Mike Kelly showed in his thread a few days ago, as it has the roof hatch and removable top half of cab for shipping, also different cab vents on front. Date of build would be about late 43 to 45.

I was going to ask if the dynamo was any good, because I need one for a WOT6, but it would cost an arm and a leg to get it home so dont worry

Andrew - thanks for that. Proves that the "Network" is working. Thanks also Richard for the vehicle data.

Default WOT6

The one Mike showed is in Dinger's yard...

If I recall the chassis was badly rusted around the front. You can see by the layout why they were called the English Blitz over here, as was the Bedford QL.
