Default CC#7 June 20,21, 22nd

Just a reminder that CC#7 in Chatsworth Ontario will be held on June 20, 21 and 22nd and we will be featuring the jeep in all its varients this year. T-shirts are up in the air at this time, send us an email if you would be interested in a T shirt featuring a jeep and we will see where it goes. Check out the website for more info and future updates, as well as our email adresses. http://www.c-broadarrow.ca We look forward to seeing all the familiar faces and some new ones as well. If you know that you are attending a quick email is appreciated as it helps us figure out food requirements etc... we will see you then.

Looking forward to meeting the object of your attention, and the usual goings on at Chateau Caldwell. I might even entice Bob and Grant to come along...

What if I don't introduce you? Hmmm? Ever thought of that, smartypants?

PS: If you're bringing Boobee, tell him to behave himself this time....

Default Reminder!

I've stickied this thread to keep it up-front... we're barely a month away after a very long winter and we hope to see as many as possible at Chateau Caldwell this year! Let us make this the best 'CC' to-date! I and my partner Sally will be there all weekend (staying with Pronto) and we are looking forward to seeing/meeting as many of you as possible, so come join us for this magnificent event! Just email Jeff or Dan Caldwell with a heads-up and a body count so they can plan accordingly - and if you're in the area, ask them if they could use some help setting this up; they'll appreciate it, and they deserve it for all the hard work they've put in to get this far!

Hope to see you there,

Geoff & Sally Ann

You are taking the Salvation Army to CC7...??
All of it...???
Will the Sally Ann band be there with you too..??
It would be cheaper to drop five bucks in the Christmas kettles in the mall...Thats what I do..
See you there..

Yes Alex, he is taking alll of me ......However, I only play for/with a "certain private audience"
If you were inclined to drop something in our kettle when you visit us, we should warn you, it tends to make the tea taste somewhat funny!

Looking forward to meeting as many members as possible

Max, you'd better tell them to bring their own Vegemite - these sods can't even spell it let alone find it! I have a secure stock, though...

Bob has my proxy to behave as I will be absent from CC this year. Don't worry tho', Grant has been trained and is highly skilled in Carriere containment techniques.

My regrets to the Caldwells, duty calls, but I still want the T-Shirts!

The Original Sally Ann Song:....

"We are the boys who everybody knows
We go to work where the wine and whiskey flows
We are boozers all, you can tell us by our nose
We're the boys of the Salvation Army!"

Chorus:

Sing Blood and Fire
Sing Blood and Fire
Put a nickle on the drum
And you'll be saved.

No disrespect to anyone espousing the work of the Sally Ann...this is just a song that went the rounds as late as the '70s.

Default Reply for Max......

Thanks for the offer Max........ unless some one else has an immediate use/need I am personaly OK...... the Rotters have mananged to salvage some from spare axles and most were still useable........a few rusted to bits particularly the lowwer ones........ we would not want to hog the market place and have them just sitting on a barn shelf for the sake of having them.

Those front axle CMP bearings will be a "critical" item in the years to come.
That's why I would not hesitate to buy a spare axle or a rolling chassis when the price is right just for potential spare parts.......

Thanks again for the offer...... looking forward to meeting the kids!!!!!

Hello everyone, Things are shaping up nicely for another great weekend. We will not be making up t-shirts this year. Prices for these seem to keep going up and there was not quite enough pre orders to meet the minumum order. We look forward to visiting with everyone once again !!!

...but, this new contract may lead to a new line of business that gives me more time to attend to the important things in life: family, beer, travel, beer, and working on that damned HUP! Enjoy the company and post lots of pics so that I can peek in from afar.

Regrets...I've had a few...this is one more.

Cheers!

DD for sure, if you can drive a standard! Otherwise we're all doomed!

Stories about Sunray will abound, believe me!

"Til then...

BTW, can you firm up ETA?

(1) Well, Sally's vee-hickle is standard, does that count? She's driven trucks before, albeit not army trucks...

(2) Embellish away, she knows bullshite when she hears it! The responses you get might prove interesting...

(3) Anticipate ETA your loc approx 1800 Friday depending on how hard it is to get out of the city. Will advise via cell enroute. Ack over.

(4) Will bring usual assortment of tripe and a few other bits & pieces.

Max...hopefully you can get these directions to them.

From Holstein, go west to Hiway 6.

Go north on Hiway 6 thru Durham, Dornoch and Williamsford.

Then you'll arrive at Chatsworth where there will be a "Y" intersection which connects to Hiway 10.

Go north from Chatsworth (50 kph speed limit) past an Ontario Provincial Police station on the right.

Next intersection is identified as Grey Road 16 on the left, pointing to Keady. On the right, the same road is identified as the Holland-Sydenham Townline. Turn right.

Proceed 3 km on paved road until you reach a "T" intersection and the pavement ends. Turn right. Second driveway on the left is the place!

There will be "tactical" signs posted outside of Chatsworth.

2 Days to go, just a quick note that there is construction on the side road and closed road signs posted. The road is open and passable just go around the sign, hopefully they leave it that way for the weekend. Preparation is slightly behind as our grandmother passed away and we had funeral stuff etc to deal with this week. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
