Default 1941 Ford fordor question

Hello all,
A friend of mine has bought a 1941 Ford Fordor from the 'States, and his avowed intention is to create a replica of those used in North Africa (I'm not keen on this sort of this sort of thing really, but it's his car). Well, In any case, does anybody have any other 'photos of one of these Fords in military garb, or any idea on markings?
Many thanks,
Stef

Thumbs up Staff car

I did a quick search on the forum and found this post with some pictures.

Your friend's car will make a nice looking replica. Original staff cars are very rare if not impossible to find.

Paul

Hello Stefano,

Did this project ever get started? If so, can you share any progress pictures?

Mike, yes it is a 1942 model Ford 21A.

1st picture shows the 1942 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan.

2nd picture is a 1941 Ford Standard Fordor.

Default RHD version

A rare survivor is this genuine 42 staff car that was owned by Bert Barker. A RHD version, it would have been assembled by Ford Australia. The pic was taken many years ago during a club trip to Bandiana .
