Vegemite under threat
Food tax could see Vegemite off shelves
Thursday, January 08, 2009 » 11:36am Vegemite is just one everyday foodstuff that may be forced off grocery shelves if a tax is imposed on energy dense foods. The National Preventative Health Taskforce is expected to recommend the tax, to regulate fat, salt and sugar content in food and drinks.
