Default Popular Science / Popular Mechanics

WARNING - Only for those with time on their hands.
At Google Books you can now look at Popular Mechanics from January 1905 to December 2005 and Popular Science from May 1872 to February 2008. I have already "lost" half the weekend. Some very interesting articles relevant to WW2 {loads of other interesting articles as well} but not all accurate - They reported that transatlantic convoys were protected by Helicopters on the merchant ships and Giders towed by merchantmen and escorts which were released to dive on submarines bombing & machine-gunning them.
Have not (yet) found a way of cutting & pasting photos or articles - suppose it's a breach of copyright.
Enjoy
Noel
